Hi coach, I've been working on form for the Oly lifts, so I've been trying to get into a much deeper squat than I'm used to. I developed pain in my right IT band two days ago though. It hurts whenever I try to squat now. My left hip doesn't open up as much as my right, so my right leg ends up in a deeper squat than my left, with my right knee collapsing in. Pushing my knees out doesn't help because my body just rotates weird. How can I open my hip up? I know this is the problem with my squat, so help would be greatly appreciated.
