Dear Coach,
I am new to the website and Olympic Lifting. I have been on Crossfit for 19 complete weeks so whatever Olympic lifting I have done, has come during that time. I searched around the website for an answer but nothing was quite what I was looking for. So here it goes.
My first question is, are the percentages based on your one rep max for that exercise?
Also, I know this might sound like a beginner question, but do you write out the reps and then the sets or the sets and then the reps?
Thanks in advance coach.

yes the % are taken off the 1 r m. howver a beginner should understand that % at least for the first 3-4 wks are not that important.....but what is important is good form and the volume of reps.
if i write 3 x 5 that means 3 sets of 5 reps.
if i write a weight or a % 135 x 3 x 10---that means 135 lbs x 3 reps x 10 sets
or i might write 80% x 3 x 10.....that means 80% of 1 rm x 3 reps x 10 sets.
great questions.
