Hi Coach B,
Any recommendations for stretches or remedies for tight shoulders in the overhead receiving position? My shoulder girdle is incredibly tight and it makes it hard to catch the bar overhead or keep it stable in that position. i've been rolling on a lacrosse ball to loosen things up but i was wondering if there were any stretches you'd recommend i try as well? Thank you!

In my opinion, mobility under a barbell is key in Olympic lifting. So I'd spend time in the overhead squat position and work exercises such as the Sotts press. For in depth details, I'd lead you in the direction of Mobility WOD and KStar...he is the subject matter expert in mobility.
