Hi Coach,

What things do you do with a not so athletic kid who keeps going back to arm pulling? We work at it, but I'm having trouble getting him to break this habit. this is his third season (6 months of the school year) in WL and the arm pulling is really holding him back.

The other thing he tends to do is combine arm pull with pushing the butt back instead of aggressively pulling under the bar.

que: SHOULDERS LEAD, ARMS FOLLOW. THEN....JUMP, JUMP AND RAISE YOUR SHOULDERS (SHRUG) THEN CLEAN. SO JUMP, JUMP, CLEAN. QUE EACH JUMP.....ALSO MOTIVATIONAL CONSEQUENCES...IE BURPEES. HE IS NOT FOCUSING!!

Thanks, Coach. Yeah, no miracles here. Just focus and hard work!

Overall, I'm pretty excited about our group of middle school lifters. Several currently have "medal" totals for School-Age Nat'ls.
