Thank you for the quick reply on my last question, and that beings me to my next question. When you scoop/dbl knee bend, is the torso slightly angled forward or is it completely vertical?

There is no doubt that your torso is going to be slightly angled forward, and this is called the pockets position, but immediately after that your torso becomes completely vertical as you violently jump the barbell through a range of motion in order to catch it in either a clean or snatch.
