So I was just wondering what the squatting protocol in the current Oly program is doing? Is it trying to increase our absolute strength? Or is it just trying to get our bodies used to volume. Can you get stronger doing high volume at a lower %? Thanks a lot. The program is great.

periodically i use the 10 x 3 set rep scheme....not too often...but periodically.....most of the time i do heavy singles taking it up to a VERY heavy single....then maybe stop or take 80-85% of that weight and do singles or dbls.
