Coach, I guess I was just wondering how you think crossfit and oly lifiting should be used in rugby. I find it hard to increase my strength while also getting to "match fitness" thanks

strength is helpful no doubt, but really disect rugby.....lots of running, lots of running and exploding, sounds like crossfit to me. i took our football kids and gave them jumping squats, floor presses for 60 sec and we never lost a game in the 4th quarter!!!! i like strength, but i like explosiveness and speed strength way before strength!!!! crossfit rules for rugby!!!!
