Hey coach, i got a little confused getting this on the website...hope i didn't post it twice. i had a question about developing a good strength to weight ratio. im training for sprinting/jumping and i need to get really strong without putting on too much weight. i especially need to be careful about my weight for the jumping. what type of training would you recommend so that i'm only getting strength where i need to and not adding "dead weight"?

i would work hard on the snatch,, clean and jerk and front sqts while doing all the exercises you do for sprinting and jumping. here is the deal singles and work as heavy as your technique allows. the bulgarian training philosophy will build steel cables in the your muscles and joints and tendons while making you strong but not adding hypertrophy.
