I want to gain weight before next football season, and was wondering what the best way would be to do this. I currently weigh 195 and would like to be to 225 in a time span of 9 months. Is this goal possible.

what is your height? are you big boned? thick? how about your parents size? without much thought i would say if you work hard, train hard, eat good, you would be able to gain the weight. however there are many other things one has to think about. my son casey needs to go from 264 to 286 by oct. 07....same situation as you. he does not like to eat as a rule.... i mean the k ind of eathing that one has to maintainn to gain that kind of weight. what kind of eater are you? be realistic about it. you can call me: 760-535-1835 my cell and we can talk about it. one of the things that worked for casey was 0200 hrs he would raise and have a protein shake already made up from the night before....this was about 1000 cal. he would also have a peanut butter and bananna sandwich on the hour when at school for 5 straight hours.....every hr on the hr.....he gained weight. lots of squats, deadlifts, presses, snatches, clean and jerks etc.
